Expressions of interest for Consultancy for Assessment of Capacity Building needs in Warehouse Management.
The Government of Ghana has received financing from the African Development Bank toward the cost of the Cocoa Sector Institutional Support Project (COSISP) and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this facility to payments under the contract for Consultancy Services for Assessment of Capacity Building needs in Warehouse Management . The objective of this assignment is to assess the capacity building requirements (material and human) in order to identify the gaps in the Warehousing, Port and Shipping Operations and its Management and recommend measures for modernizing the Warehousing, Port and Shipping Operations of COCOBOD, including capacity building of staff. The assignment is expected to identify the gaps and recommend measures and trainings in relation to the following areas: • Mechanization of Warehouse operations • Inventory Management • Health and Safety at warehouses • Warehouse Security • Legal Institutional Arrangements for Warehouse Management –Fire, insurance etc. • Shipping Operations and Container Handling, including ship tracking and monitoring. • Freight Negotiations capacity • Warehouse Environment
